Secondary Source Identifier [si]

The [si] qualifier identifies a secondary source that supplies information, e.g., other data sources, databanks and accession numbers of molecular sequences (e.g., GenBank; – beginning in July 2005).

  • Use [si] to qualify the Secondary Source Identifier. The field is composed of a source followed by a slash followed by an accession number.
  • Examples:
    genbank/af113832 [si]
    nct00000419 [si]
