The Indian Citizenship Act

The Indian Citizenship Act was signed in 1924 by President Calvin Coolidge in recognition of the high rate of enlistment by Native individuals during World War I. Many chose to serve in the U.S. military even long after the Act was signed. Meet a few of them here.
