The September 2015 US Edition of SNOMED CT release is now available for download.

The September 2015 release includes 991 new concepts specific to the US, as well as all of the content from the July 2015 International Release of SNOMED CT. The US Edition of SNOMED CT is the official source of SNOMED CT for use in US healthcare systems.

Please Note:

• The US Edition Release Format 1 (RF1) and Release Format 2 (RF2) files are available as two separate downloads. This is similar to the International Release of SNOMED CT.
• The International Health Terminology Standards Development Organisation (IHTSDO), the owner of SNOMED CT, has announced the deprecation and withdrawal of support for RF1 format. The plan and timeline for support withdrawal can be reviewed on the IHTSDO News page.
• NLM will align with the deprecation timeline for the US Edition RF1 release. IHTSDO and NLM strongly encourage users to use RF2 as the recommended format for SNOMED CT data.
