The Disaster Information Management Research Center website and the Disaster Lit database will be discontinued as of October 1, 2020. This change is part of NLM’s initiative to align and consolidate the Library’s health information to make it easier for online health information seekers to find and navigate trusted health information curated by NLM. You can find similar information at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR):

NIH Public Health Emergency and Disaster Research Response (DR2) COVID-19 Collection tools will continue to be available as the resource transitions to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS).

The Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN)/Hazmat tools will continue to be maintained:

  • WISER (Wireless Information System for Emergency Responders)
  • CHEMM (Chemical Hazards Emergency Medical Management)
  • REMM (Radiation Emergency Medical Management)
