Academic Internship Program

This program allows students to train at NLM during the school year as part of research groups directed by a Principal Investigator (PI). NLM offers research opportunities in computational biology and computational health research.

Length of Award

Maximum nine months in one academic school year (mid-August to mid-May)

Eligibility

To be considered for the Academic Internship Program, applicants should be:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • U.S. citizens or permanent residents (foreign nationals ineligible)
  • high school graduates that have been accepted into accredited college or university programs at the time of application or students in college (including community college) or graduate/professional school
