You can find published accounts of the adverse effects of drugs using a combination of MeSH Terms and Subheadings.

The most relevant Subheading is adverse effects, which includes two narrower terms, poisoning and toxicity. Each of these have their own definition in MeSH.

• Adverse Effects: Side effects or complications of a substance used in an accepted dosage when intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, prophylactic, or anesthetic purposes. View the MeSH entry for adverse effects.
  • Poisoning: Life-threatening intoxication, which can be accidental, occupational, suicidal, by medication error, or by environmental exposure. View the MeSH entry for poisoning.
