January 2016 International Release of SNOMED CT Available for Download

January 2016 International Release of SNOMED CT Available for Download. 2016 Jan-Feb;(408):b5.

February 04, 2016 [posted]

The January 2016 International Release of SNOMED CT is available for download.

As a reminder, the SNOMED CT RF1 and RF2 release files are now available as two separate download files and the SNOMED CT RF1 Compatibility Package tools continue to be available for download. The compatibility tools enable users to generate an RF1-formatted version of the SNOMED CT International Release from the RF2 release files. The tools will provide backward compatibility for users after the International Health Terminology Standards Development Organisation (IHTSDO) stops distribution of an RF1 version of the International Release.

The SNOMED CT RF2 to RF1 Conversion files and additional RF1 files are available on the SNOMED CT Permanent Packages page.

Additional information about these release file changes, RF1 deprecation, and withdrawal of support, can be found on the IHTSDO Web site.

Finally, please visit the IHTSDO Known Issue Register. It is a new resource that details any known issues with the International SNOMED CT release.
