The RxNorm December monthly release became available for download on Monday, December 6, 2021, and contains the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for children 5 through 11 years of age.

The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine for children 5 through 11 years of age was recently authorized for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is included in the RxNorm December 2021 monthly release.
