The RxNorm November monthly release became available for download on Monday, November 1, 2021, and contains a new concept for Restasis single-use vials (RXCUI 2572293).

New Concept for Restasis Single-Use Vials

Restasis is an eye medication available in a multi-dose bottle and single-dose vial. Previously, RXCUI 402092 represented both the multi-dose and the single-dose Restasis products. However, the single-use product was split into a distinct RxNorm concept (RXCUI 2572293) starting with the November 2021 release. The existing concept RXCUI 402092 will represent the multi-dose product.

The new Restasis single-use and related generic concepts are:
