Use the common name for a drug or chemical

Search PubMed with the familiar term for a drug or chemical. Trade names are perfectly acceptable. The NLM controlled vocabulary, the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH), accounts for a wide variety of synonyms.

Examples: ibuprofen, sertraline, Norplant

Check your Search details to be sure that your search term is matched or "mapped" to either a MeSH term or a Supplementary Concept.
