EFTS Billing Report

Creating an EFTS Transaction Report

NLM and MLA suggest DOCLINE participants take advantage of EFTS to reduce the time and costs associated with ILL billing.  DOCLINE automatically sends daily transaction data to MLA-EFTS for requests between EFTS borrowers and lenders, so manual entry or upload is no longer necessary.

Visit https://efts.mlanet.org/account/login to view your billable or billed requests.

Alternatively, EFTS participants can produce this downloadable EFTS report spreadsheet and then enter transactions individually into the MLA-EFTS website. Only requests from borrowers that are EFTS participants will display in the report.

To create an EFTSbilling report, do the following:

  1. Select the Reports tab from within DOCLINE.
  2. Select EFTS Manual Billing File.
  3. Select the date range of the transactions you wish to bill for.
  4. Click Find Requests.
  5. An excel download box will appear. Open or Save the file. Filled transactions from EFTS borrowers are displayed in the report. The report will include: Borrower’s LIBID, Request #, Journal or Book Title, Author, Date Filled, Patron and Borrower’s Max Cost. Transactions are displayed grouped by LIBID by default.

Note:  Transactions remain available for inclusion in the report 150 days after the filled date. If no requests found, a blank file is generated.
