Brandi Kattman, MS, CGC


Brandi is a genetic counselor and currently serves as the Chief of NCBI's Medical Genetics and Human Variation Program. She joined the NIH to assist in developing the NIH Genetic Testing Registry and works on other clinical genetics resources such as ClinVar and MedGen. Brandi previously worked at GeneDx, a genetic testing laboratory, with roles as Genetic Counseling Services Program Manager and Director, Cardiology Genetic Services.

Melissa Landrum, PhD


Melissa is the Team Lead for the ClinVar database at NCBI. Prior to leading the ClinVar team, she was a curator on the NCBI RefSeq team for 12 years. She came to NCBI from The Johns Hopkins University, where she received her PhD in human genetics.

Her presentation is titled "Update on ClinVar Developments to Support Somatic Variant Interpretation."

Adriana Malheiro, MS, LCGC


Adriana is the Director of the NIH Genetic Testing Registry (GTR) which is an international database of orderable clinical and research genetic tests and the laboratories that provide them; and MedGen, NCBI’s portal to medical genetics information. She also serves as the Editor-in-Chief for the Medical Genetics Summaries, an online resource that provides structured pharmacogenomic evidence and practical information about genetic testing to guide drug therapy. Adriana is a licensed certified genetic counselor with a mission to help successfully integrate genetic and genomic information into the practice of medicine.
