Analysis of Genome-Wide Gene-Environment (G x E) Interactions (R21) (PAR-13-382)

//grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-13-382.html

Purpose

The NIH supports genome-wide association and whole genome sequencing studies relevant to multiple human complex disorders and diseases. The genotype and phenotype data are available through the NIH (dbGaP) and/or other public databases as well as through individual parent studies.  The resulting large volume of data generated by these studies often provides unique, cost-effective opportunities to investigate additional research questions, apply new analytical approaches and methods, and combine data across studies to more powerfully address research questions. The objective of this funding opportunity is to identify new gene-environment interactions relevant to human diseases/disorders by leveraging secondary data analyses.

Deadline

February 14, 2014, by 5:00 PM local time of applicant organization.
