Application Deadline: April 28, 2011 by 5:00pm local time of the applicant organization
Purpose
The National Library of Medicine (NLM) invites applications for support of pre-doctoral and post-doctoral training programs leading to research careers in biomedical informatics. Applications may be for the creation of entirely new training programs or for the renewal of existing NLM training program grants. Such programs help meet a growing need for investigators trained in biomedical computing and relevant application domains including health care delivery, basic biomedical research, clinical and translational research, public health, health information sciences and other related areas. Informatics training is multi-disciplinary. Trainees will come to these programs with a range of educational and professional backgrounds and receive the training they need to prepare them for research careers in biomedical informatics.
This program expires April 29, 2011.
