ClinicalTrials.gov Gets a Modernized Look for an Improved User Experience

Informed by user feedback, the modernized website includes an updated look and feel that improves functionality for searching, viewing, and downloading information about clinical trials. The new look includes simple web components that improve navigation and make important information easier to find.

ClinicalTrials.gov is the world’s largest clinical trial and results registry. It provides patients, their family members, health care professionals, researchers, and the public with easy access to information on publicly and privately supported clinical studies covering a wide range of diseases and conditions. Managed by NLM, part of the National Institutes of Health, this web-based resource lists records for nearly 450,000 clinical trials, observational studies, and expanded access programs. More than 4 million visitors use the website monthly to find and learn about clinical studies.

Visit the modernized ClinicalTrials.gov website and discover the newest features for yourself!

To allow users to adapt to the modernized site, the former ClinicalTrials.gov website will remain available under https://classic.clinicaltrials.gov/ until it is retired in 2024. NLM will keep users informed before retiring the classic site.
