RxNorm Data Changes

Decrease in Active National Drug Codes (NDCs)

The RxNorm Full February 2022 release contains approximately 23,500 less NDCs in active status compared to last month's RxNorm Full January release. This change is a result of information from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Many of the impacted NDCs are associated with hand sanitizer products.
