Upcoming RxNorm Data Changes

As a courtesy to customers, this section provides advance notice of possible upcoming RxNorm data changes. More information about each change will be provided or repeated in the future. Please note that planned data changes and timelines may change if issues arise.

New RxNorm Terminology Term Types (TTYs) will be Added Fall/Winter 2023 at the Earliest

As previously announced, RxNorm will add three new TTYs. These new TTYs will improve the RxNorm terminology model for medications using precise ingredients as the basis of strength substance. The new TTYs that will be added are:
