VSAC 2.16.6 Release Notes

NLM released VSAC update version 2.16.6 on May 14, 2018

New code systems in VSAC

Manage your own VSAC author and steward group memberships

View your VSAC author and steward group memberships and manage the members within your groups.

Change value set ownership between VSAC authoring groups

If you are no longer associated with a value set you authored, due to personnel or other changes, you may now transfer your value set to a VSAC group who is willing to steward your value set. Both your current VSAC group members and the future owners of your value set must agree in advance. Learn more...

Contact value set stewards directly for questions and feedback

Sometimes you may have questions about the content, purpose or usage of a value set that only the steward can answer. You may wonder when a value set steward intends to update their value set. Select the Contact icon within the value set details of any published value set. For draft value sets in the Authoring tool, select the Contact Steward link in the left side bar.

Remove all codes from a new version of your value set

In some cases, you may wish to exclude all your value set's current codes so that you can easily replace your code list with a different list of codes, perhaps from a different terminology code system, that will serve the same purpose. The original intent and usage of your value set should always be preserved.
