Updated COVID-19 Provisional Codes in VSAC (RxNorm)

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) Value Set Authority Center (VSAC) has updated VSAC with the most recent provisional terminology codes published by RxNorm, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

RxNorm developed and published these codes to streamline the public health response to the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the COVID-19 disease, and they are based on the most up to date information available at the time of their creation.

Value set authors who create COVID-19 related value sets can Contact NLM to request their COVID-19 value sets be included in a prefiltered VSAC search.
