Links under Information Sources


If you want to see a list of all the data sources and corresponding links cited in a PubChem summary, go to the Information Sources section.

Example

In the summary for Apixaban, use the Contents menu to jump to the section Information Sources.

View the information source CAS Common Chemistry in that list. Below the LICENSE information and link is the chemical name with a URL that links directly to the CAS website page about Apixaban.

If you want to jump to a specific source and link, use the Filter by Source drop down menu at the top of the Information Sources section.

Exercises

Open PubChem and answer the following questions:

  1. Find the Best Match for the chemical with CAS# 910463-68-2.
    True or False? This summary includes information from the NLM’s Drug and Lactation Database, LactMed, about using this drug during breastfeeding.
