Release Notes for May 2015 Candidate Baseline of the SNOMED CT to ICNP Cooperative Project: A Candidate Baseline of the International Classification for Nursing Practice (ICNP) and SNOMED CT Cooperative Project is now available. The release contains a bi-directional ICNP -- SNOMED CT nursing diagnoses (problems) equivalency table. This release should be evaluated in the context of the January 2015 SNOMED CT International Edition. Released on July 31, 2015.
Currently the Candidate Baseline is distributed for evaluation purposes only and should not be used in production clinical systems or in the clinical setting.

Release Notes for January 2015 Human Readable Version of LOINC-SNOMED CT Cooperative Project Technology Preview: A new human readable version of Technology Preview release is now available and the IHTSDO is requesting feedback on the LOINC-SNOMED CT Cooperative Project Technology Preview.
This Technology Preview does not represent a set of data ready for clinical use within a system and has been made available at this time for review and evaluation purposes only. Thus, this release should not be used in production clinical systems or in clinical settings.

SNOMED CT to ICNP Cooperative Project
Release Date: September 2015 In addition to 722 new concepts specific to the US, the March 2016 US Edition of SNOMED CT also contains all of the content from the January 2016 International Release of SNOMED CT. New content includes CMT content in the specialization areas of ophthalmology, pediatric medicine, musculoskeletal, skin and respiratory, endocrine and hematology/oncology. Additional areas also include emergency medical services and content for US Meaningful Use.
Please note: The IHTSDO has announced the deprecation and withdrawal of support for RF1 format. The plan and timeline can be reviewed here. NLM will align with the deprecation timeline for the US Edition RF1 release.
The International Classification of Nursing Practice (ICNP) to SNOMED CT nursing diagnoses (problems) equivalency table is a product of an ongoing work carried out under a preexisting collaboration agreement between the International Council of Nurses (ICN) and the International Health Terminology Standards Organization (IHTSDO). The release is a baseline release, and aligned to the July 2015 SNOMED CT International release. For those interested in the equivalency table, please contact the IHTSDO.

LOINC-SNOMED CT Cooperative Project - Alpha (Phase 3)
Release Date: March 31, 2015
This is the third release of the LOINC-SNOMED CT Cooperative Project, which includes both the LOINC Term to SNOMED CT Expression reference set and the LOINC Part to SNOMED CT Map reference set. This Alpha release is dependent upon, and should be evaluated in the context of the January 2016 SNOMED CT International Release and Version 2.54 of LOINC, released December 2015. The IHTSDO would like to recieve feedback on these releases.
Two additional file formats are available for review of content in the Alpha Release:
OWL file: for reviewing and classifying the content with an ontology reasoner using an ontology viewing/editing software.
Human Readable file: an excel spreadsheet for reviewing the map of LOINC Terms to SNOMED CT expressions in a human-readable tabular format.
