As the U.S. representative member to SNOMED International, NLM (National Library of Medicine) is serving as host country for the upcoming October 2023 SNOMED International Business Meetings and SNOMED CT Expo 2023.
Business Meetings
SNOMED International's October 2023 Business Meetings include formal meetings of the governance and advisory bodies (groups with an appointed or elected membership), and of the working groups (clinical and project groups completing a defined set of deliverables). Many of the meetings are open to observers, while some are closed sessions. All will be delivered with hybrid access. Both in-person and online participation in the business meetings are free of charge, but you must register. The October 2023 Business Meetings schedule is available here.
Expo
The SNOMED CT Expo unites clinical terminology subject matter experts from around the world, including government officials, health IT professionals, health practitioners, researchers, academics, and vendors. Discover how SNOMED CT enables data driven health systems and improved patient outcomes from a wide range of global implementers. Registration is required to attend the expo. The SNOMED CT Expo 2023 program is available here. All SNOMED CT Expo presentations will be delivered with hybrid access.

SNOMED CT Expo attendees will also have an opportunity to chat with NLM personnel at the NLM Exhibit Booth. Other U.S. federal agencies will also have exhibit booths to interact with, including the FDA and CDC.
