Pre-coordinated Terms vs. Multiple Main Headings

  • You have an item that is about the “glycogen content of the liver”
  • You might expect to have to use more than one descriptor to convey this concept, however a search of the phrase “glycogen liver” in the MeSH browser retrieves the proper single heading: Liver Glycogen
    (be sure to click the “Find terms with ALL fragments” button)
