Sterilizing the spaces and objects that have been in contact with a sick patient help prevent the spread of TB. As per this poster, the best way to disinfect items is through boiling. The image shows a woman washing the clothes of a TB patient as behind her the door is open to show a man boiling clothes on the stove inside. Shoes, clothes, books and a blanket are being aired outside in the sun.
