The Registry Nomenclature Information System (RENI) is produced and maintained by Joint STPs/ILSI Committee on International Harmonization of Nomenclature and Diagnostic Criteria in Toxicologic Pathology.

RENI is intended to serve as the standard reference for nomenclature and diagnostic criteria in toxicologic pathology and at the Internet discussion platform for the International Harmonization of Nomenclature and Diagnostic criteria.

RENI is the electronic version of the publications 'International Classification of Rodent Tumours': nomenclature, diagnostic criteria in toxicologic pathology, and histopathological images.

RENI is employed by researchers conducting research on the diagnosis of tumors and pre-lesions in all organ systems in rats and mice.

Metathesaurus Update Frequency
RENI is updated annually as part of the NCI Thesaurus in the Metathesaurus.
