Ultrasound Structured Attribute Reporting (UltraSTAR) was developed at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
UltraSTAR is a standardized vocabulary for recording sonographic outline reports.
UltraSTAR contains less than 100 concepts and is focused on pelvic ultrasound information. It is used to generate preliminary outline reports that are then combined with other patient data into narrative reports.
UltraSTAR is used by sonographers and radiologists.
