An Essay on Hasheesh: Historical and Experimental, Victor Robinson, MD, New York, 1925

Pioneering medical editor, publisher, and historian, Victor Robinson (1886–1947) wrote a number of daring historical publications. An Essay of Hasheesh is available as paperback reprint into the 21st century.
